Dear esteemed members of the WFNS Executive Committee and WFNS National Societies,
I am pleased to announce that the WFNS Administrative Council (AC) held a meeting on February 10th, 2024, where nominations for WFNS scientific and other Ad hoc committees were discussed. The proposed nomination list of President El Abbadi was accepted with a few exceptions, and the AC has adjusted the list with supermajority votes. Please see the official approved nomination list on the WFNS website for more details. As a reminder and in keeping with the Bylaws then President Oyesiku submitted his nominations to a formal AC meeting for consideration and a vote in November 2021.
We apologize for any delay or misunderstanding in the due process, but the issue has been resolved in a democratic and professional manner. The position of Parliamentarian remains vacant pending nominations from President El Abbadi and an AC discussion followed by an AC vote.
The WFNS AC congratulates all nominees and elected chair and thanks you for your readiness to serve our beloved WFNS.
